Prudhvi is the younger of two children in his family. His older brother is Dharma Teja. Prudhvi is a respectful and quiet boy. His father works in construction, when there are jobs, and his mother is a day laborer. Both are hardworking but their income remains below the poverty line. They are unable to even afford to buy food regularly. Prudhvi enjoys taking part in all the activities at Mary Rose Buds School and is grateful for the care he receives at St. Thomas Orphanage.
