Harsha is the older of two children in his family. His sister is named Alekya. Their parents, Samba and Mounika, are both coolies (daily laborers). They don't own any land so they have to pay rent, which is quite costly. Harsha is a kind, intelligent boy who is grateful for the chance to attend Mary Rose Buds School. His favorite sport is shuttlecock (badminton). He also enjoys singing and dancing. His parents are both coolies (day laborers).
